Déjà Blu is a short film about No Name’s surreal quest to discover her identity, except reality twists further every time she dives deeper into herself. She journeys through six strange rooms, each revealing a new, unconventional piece of who she is.
Grief can be reality bending and identity defining. It is a scary feeling, to have an emotion as unruly as that run your life. Déjà Blu aims to explore how people deal with their grief, whether be for better... or for worse.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Déjà Blu is one of the most unique projects on our slate; a bizarre, organic experiment from start to finish. Unlike any short film we've seen, Déjà Blu isn’t just one story, but six interconnected shorts woven into a single narrative. Each scene stands on its own as a complete arc, while still contributing to a larger, overarching story.
Pushing things even further, we shot the film chronologically; because we were also writing it as we went. It was a wild, unpredictable process. We discovered the story as we filmed it, staying flexible and open to wherever the characters and moments led us. It was a creative adventure in every sense, since we were finding out about who No Name was alongside her.
