BEHIND THE SCENES
Alongside frequent collaborator and childhood friend, director Gabriel Ortiz, Maximilian made Choke as an exercise of visual storytelling. The pair worked on crafting a short and emphatic movie, where they both could show off their talents while telling a compelling story. It was the first of two projects the pair worked on, as they later collaborated on Manchester, with Gabriel as the DP, and certainly not the last.
