BEHIND THE SCENES
Forgive Me Father was Niccola's directorial debut and the first professional collaboration from the creative duo Sasquatch & Slim. The concept emerged from a challenge: how to tell a complete story in a single, confined location where dialogue drives the plot. Born out of financial constraints, the idea turned the very thing that once held them back; their limited resources into a creative advantage. By embracing these boundaries and weaving them into the narrative itself, they discovered the freedom to tell a story on their own terms.
“Art lives from constraints and dies from freedom.”
